A SMALL plane crashed into an airport hangar today, leaving at least 10 dead, according to reports.
Everyone on board the plane was killed when it crashed at Addison Airport near Dallas, Texas, at 9.10am, officials say.
Authorities have not released information about the identities of the people who died and officials were in the process of reaching out to family members of the victims Sunday evening, she said.
The plane, a twin-engine Beechcraft BE-350 King Air, had just taken off when it crashed shortly after 9 a.m., Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford said. The fire destroyed the aircraft.
The hangar was not occupied at the time of the crash. The plane can hold about a dozen people, Lunsford said.
