The star was born in Dublin, Ireland, on 19 June 1983 and went to school in Templeogue.

After leaving school, he started to build up his savings with a job as an apprentice electrician, which he did with his dad.

Aidan discovered an interest in acting while he worked in the cinema and soon signed up for Dublin’s Gaiety School of Acting.

Taking his first steps into performing arts, Aidan starred in theatre plays including Romeo and Juliet and A Cry for Heaven.
