ALF INGE HAALAND’S son Erling scored a sensational triple hat-trick for Norway at the Under-20’s World Cup.

The Red Bull Salzburg teen was scouted by Manchester United last year as clubs took note of his promise.

And there will be plenty more interest after the whizkid broke the tournament record with his nine-goal haul.

After netting his seventh, Haaland Jr was already to most prolific ace in Under-20s World Cup history.

But he hit another two past shell-shocked Honduras in a 12-0 rout.

Haaland’s Wikipedia page has already been edited to say: “Erling Braut Håland, anglicised to Haaland, is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a striker for Red Bull Salzburg in Austrian Football Bundesliga.

“He is a Norway U21’s international and the owner of the Honduras U-20 national football team.

“He is considered the GOAT of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.”

Haaland has a host of European sides watching his development and has previously spoken of his desire to emulate his father by playing in the English top-flight.

His dad’s career was effectively ended by a thundering Roy Keane challenge was he was playing for Manchester City.

Haaland has played twice in the Austrian Bundesliga for Salzburg, netting once.
