Arsenal fans utterly convinced Mkhitaryan is better than Dele Alli… and they’ve got the stats to prove it

ARSENAL fans are utterly convinced Henrikh Mkhitaryan is better than Dele Alli.

And despite their obvious bias, the stats back up what they’re saying.

Arsenal fans are using these stats to show how Mkhitaryan is better than Dele Alli

The Armenian scored the second in Arsenal’s 5-1 thumping of Bournemouth last night.

And he provided the assists in further goals for Laurent Koscielny and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

This all comes after a return to action earlier this month following almost two months out with a fractured metatarsal.

And given he was other half of the swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez go to Manchester United, Gunners fans must be pretty pleased with how it has turned out.

One said: “He’s such a maddeningly inconsistent player, but if he can stay in this form for the rest of the season it would be wonderful.”

And another commented: “He’s been much better since back from injury. Long may it continue.”

Even more so given their man is fit for Saturday’s North London derby and Alli is an injury doubt.

In 17 appearances this season, Mkhitaryan has six goals to Dele’s five.

And the former Man Utd star has four assists to the Spurs man’s one.

Mkhitaryan is averaging 0.35 goals per game while the Spurs attacker has 0.29.

All in all it means Mkhitaryan scores every 179 mins, while Dele nets every 240.

One area the Tottenham is better in, though, is shots on target.

Of his 25, 14 are on target. Of Mkhitaryan’s 34, ten have been on target.

But the Arsenal star is more clinical from outside the box, with three goals coming from long range compared to Dele’s none.
