Arsenal are currently level with Chelsea 0-0 in the Europa League final.

And the image of the bizarre combination shirts has surfaced on Twitter.

It appears to show locals wearing them, posing for photos in the Azerbaijan capital.

But they clearly didn’t get the memo that Chelsea and Arsenal are bitter London rivals, desperate to secure bragging rights.

And shortly after the image surfaced, fans were in uproar on social media.

One wrote: “Everything that is wrong with football today.”

Another said: “Jesus wept is this actually a thing now?

“This is even worse that a half and half scarf, and they’re awful.”

And a fellow fan fumed: “F*** sake this should never even be allowed.”

Other fans were sharing GIFs, including one depicting vomiting.

The build-up to tonight’s final has been marred by controversy, with fans travelling 2,485 miles to make it to Baku.

Arsenal’s Armenian star, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, was forced to stay at home for the clash due to tenions between his home nation and Azerbaijan.

And fans have also been warned nightclubs in the city are populated by “mostly men and prostitutes”.
