ASHLEY Banjo has revealed that wife Francesca gave birth to a baby daughter called Rose earlier this week.
The TV presenter shared the news on social media, telling fans how “proud” he was of his wife.
30-year-old Ashley shared a candid snap from inside the hospital as the doting dad beamed with joy at the adorable baby.
The room is filled with balloons and gifts from family and friends while Francesca remains in bed with a blood pressure monitor still attached to her arm.
Ashley told fans: “Our beautiful daughter came into the world at 6.45pm on 21st February 2019 – weighing a healthy 8lbs and 13oz.
“Her name is Rose Adura Banjo. I am in the deepest love ever with my little family.”
Adding a message to his wife, Ashley put: “I love you and am so proud. #NextChapter.”
Fans flocked to comment on Ashley’s heartfelt post as they sent messages of congratulations.

The pair revealed last year they were expecting their first child following a “tough” journey to conceive.
Before news broke of the birth, it was reported that Dancing on Ice judge Ashley had been given permission from TV bosses to miss this weekend’s instalment if he needed to be supporting his pregnant wife.
While nothing has been confirmed either way, it’s expected that Ashley will now be back to the judging panel on tomorrow night’s live show.
