Danny Polaris, originally from Swansea, was partying in Berlin with pals when he met a nurse who he later went home with.

After encountering some difficulty in the bedroom, the Welsh lad decided to try an erection-enhancing drug that was administered through an injection to his penis.

Danny reckoned there would be no harmful side effects from the drugs but more than two weeks since the night out his erection is yet to subside.

The jazz and singer and sex columnist said his permanent erection has left him in agony, and warned revellers to be careful before considering injecting Viagra into their manhood.

Speaking to PinkNews, Danny said: “I was partying at a club, and I took a Viagra before I went.

“I met a nurse, who I went home with, who ended up injecting an erection enhancer into my c**k.

He added: “I didn’t want to do it to start with but I consented. I thought, why not, what could possibly go wrong? It’s one of the worst decisions of my life.”

Danny woke up the next morning alarmed to find that his erection was still going strong but initially put off seeking medical treatment.

Undeterred by the erection, Danny powered through to attend Berlin Pride festival, where he says he wrapped his pal’s wine cooler around his penis in a bid to soothe the pain.

But, he started to become concerned the following day when the erection still had not gone down and he was taken to hospital in “screaming pain”.

Medics at a Berlin hospital have since diagnosed Danny with priapism and he has undergone a series of excruciating treatments in a bid to get rid of the long-standing erection.

Some of the horror treatments include driving needles through the side of his penis, pushing a plastic nail down his urethra, and emergency surgery.

He has lost so much blood, he required a transfusion.

Danny went on: “Some days I wake up and I just cry about how stupid I was, about what I’ve lost, about what’s going to happen to me.

“I don’t know how much it’s going to cost to get my penis working how it used to be working. I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future… will I have sex again?”

Concerned friends have set up a GoFundMe page for Danny in a bid to raise the cash needed to pay for his expensive medical costs, with 24 pals so far chipping just over €500 (£466).
