A BOY was crushed to death when his dad fell on him from a roof during a storm.
Gabrielle Persia, 55, plunged 18ft while trying to fix damage to his wood business from gale-force winds.
Son Pasquale, 14, suffered head injuries and paramedics raced to the scene but there was nothing they could do.
Police in Monterotondo, Italy, said the youngster may have rushed to help his father when he saw he was about to fall.
Horrified Gabrielle called emergency services himself and was treated for shock and cuts and bruises by paramedics.
Cops questioned him about the tragedy and he told them he had been thrown off balance by a strong blast of wind, fell and landed on his son.
