Police claim they found evidence of beatings on his body — which his dad admitted inflicting for “educational purposes”.
Cops have now taken the boy away from his 26-year-old dad and step mum, 27.
Child welfare groups are applying to “strip the father of his parental rights”.
He faces legal action for child abuse and “torture” with a maximum sentence of five years, the Mirror reports.
It is claimed the police rescued the boy after he told his friends about the abuse he suffered at home and their parents alerted police.
The boy is being checked over in hospital and “will not be returned to his family”, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office said.
They went on: “The boy was checked by doctors and is now provided with necessary psychological assistance.”
Child welfare officials are working “to deprive the father of his parental rights”.
