BREAKING: Australia beach resort hit by 6.6 magnitude earthquake

A 6.6 MAGNITUDE earthquake has struck a beach resort in western Australia.

The quake took place off the shore between Port Headland and Broome in the Indian Ocean around 3.39pm AEST (6.39am BST). 

It occurred at a depth of 33km (20 miles), around 203km (126 miles) offshore.
