Boyson is charged with using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.
The allegation came a day after Price was arrested by police who found her slumped in a drunken state in the back of her pink Range Rover.
He entered a not guilty plea at Medway Magistrates’ Court in March and will face trial at the same court later.
The alleged victim of the incident near Boyson’s home in Gravesend, Kent, on October 11 was a PC Blundell, according to court records.
Price’s lover Boyson was pictured arriving at court wearing a grey-checked suit with a black pocket square as he clutched his mobile phone.
It was said to have followed 30-year-old Boyson, of Haven Close, arguing with a photographer.
Price was arrested in her car in Greenwich, south-east London, in the early hours of October 10.
The 41-year-old former glamour model was later convicted of being nearly twice the legal limit while in charge of the vehicle, and she was banned from driving.
