Emergency services were called to Summerlands Caravan Park in Ingoldmells at around 10pm yesterday.
Tragically, they were unable to save the woman’s life and she died at the scene.
In a statement, Lincolnshire police said: “Emergency services were called to a caravan at The Summerlands Caravan Park, Ingoldmells about 2200 last evening (Wednesday) where a woman was found with serious injuries.
“She was being treated at the scene by the ambulance crew but, sadly, died a short time later.
“A man was later arrested and is in custody at Skegness police station pending further enquiries.
“Further details will be released later this morning.”
