With the Duchess’ due date reportedly revealed as yesterday, speculation about her labour is rife.
But this morning, eyewitnesses in Chiswick claim the royal may have gone into labour after a series of cars, accompanied by police escort were seen rushing through the area.
A source told OK! online: “This morning we saw a load of cars being given a police escort through Chiswick.
“It could be a politician or something else but that’s the route Meghan would take if she had to go to hospital from her home, so naturally we thought it was her.”
The Duchess’ due date was revealed to be yesterday, according to the Sun, but the couple are said to be relaxed while awaiting the arrival.
Meghan has been staying close to home with her mum, Doria Ragland, by her side at Frogmore Cottage for more than a week.
A royal source told the Sun: “It won’t be long now. Meghan’s really excited. Of course, she’s nervous like any first-time mum but she and Harry can’t wait.”
“She’s been preparing for the birth – she wants it to be as natural as possible – and so has been practising hypnobirthing and breathing techniques with Harry.
“It’s been a huge support having her mum by her side and now she’s just getting as much rest as she can.”
It comes as the royal baby was revealed to become a record breaker within the first six months of their life as one of the youngest royals ever to go on an official tour.
According to The Sunday Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “already planning their first overseas trip with their child: an official tour of Africa in the autumn”.
Prince Harry, 34, attended the London Marathon yesterday to hand out medals and support runners.
While Meghan, 37, has been at their home in Surrey and “wants to stay at home for as long as possible once she goes into labour”, the source said.
