BREAKING: Woman robbed at knifepoint by group of men as she sat in her car

The victim’s terrifying ordeal unfolded as she was sitting in her car on Allen Road in Rainham yesterday.

A group of men jumped out of a car and robbed her in broad daylight. 

Emergency services, including police officers from Met Police and crews from the London Ambulance Service, were called to the scene at around 12.44pm.

The group of men, one armed with a knife, reportedly robbed the woman of her car keys and damaged her car.

After the horrifying incident, men left in their vehicle, the driver of which suffered minor injuries.

A male passenger who fled the scene was found nearby and arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

He is currently in police custody while enquiries continue, and there have been no further arrests at this time.

A Met Police spokeswoman told Daily Star Online: “Police were called to Allen Road in Rainham following a report of a robbery at 12:44pm.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

“It was reported that a group of men, one armed with a knife, jumped out of a car and robbed a woman of her car keys while she was in her vehicle.

“They also caused damage to her car.

“The group of men then left in their vehicle.

“The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

“There was also a male passenger who fled the scene, he was found nearby and arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

“He’s currently in police custody while enquiries continue.

“There have been no further arrests at this time.”
