BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers were left fuming tonight as Virgin Media went off air meaning fans missed out on the final two acts.
The service confirmed it had issues for 30 minutes before full content was restored, and a spokesperson for the provider apologised for the inconvenience.
The problems started roughly 20 minutes before the end of the show as many fans began tweeting their dismay at loosing ITV.
One viewer asked: “Just lost
#bgt. Is it just me, just Virgin Media or is it national?”
And it wasn’t long before others joined in, slamming the television provider for losing the channel just before the end of the show.
A fan suggested: “Yes 103 isn’t working so if you’re with virgin media try channel 853
And one grumbled: “Oh, that’s ok Virgin Media. I didn’t want to watch #BritainsGotTalent anyway. Why is it always you useless fools? #BGT”
The service was down for 30 minutes. A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We sincerely apologise for the loss of some TV channels earlier this evening. All channels are now restored.”
