Trent Holmes, 40, captured the heart-stopping moment a safari trip went horribly wrong after the heard of elephants charged across his path.
The gigantic creatures had spotted a pack of lions in their vicinity moments earlier and were trying to scare them off.
But as they fled, they headed straight to the vehicle.
In the video, Trent is filming while driving down a red sand path in Kruger National Park, Africa, before suddenly coming to a halt.
In the far right-hand corner, a herd of over a dozen elephants are seen charging directly towards the path as a handful of calves trail closely behind.
Suddenly, a tusked giant lets out a loud trumpeting sound before charging directly for the vehicle.
It soon disappears in the bushes before another of the threatening mammals is seen charging up the red sanded path directly for the tourists.
The exhilarating experience was yet to finish, as the tusked giant that had disappeared in the bushes moment before bursts out of the trees causing a cloud of mud and sand to form.
It was seen aggressively flapping its ears and waving his tusks in the air in a bid to send the humans fleeing from their territory.
“I have never been so scared, ever.”
Guests on board the safari vehicle are heard tittering from the nerve-wracking experience, within seconds, the laughter abruptly came to a halt as the agitated elephant comes back for the third time.
One guest is heard saying: “He’s coming back! Can we go?”
The safari guide reassures the frightened passengers, replying: “Relax guys. We can’t go now, we have to sit in the car.”
“Be quiet and relax.”
TV producer Trent, who filmed this incredible encounter said: “One fronted us up with big tusks and it was so scary but we thought after that they were all gone into the bush.
