Earlier this week, we reported that Aldi were introducing a Parma Violet Shimmering Gin.
But now it seems like they’re not the only ones coming over all purple for spring, as Brothers cider have also introduced a Parma Violet flavoured boozy beverage.
The drink combines the flavour of sweet violets with floral notes with traditional Somerset apples… and it looks very pretty.
Brothers announced the arrivaL on its website, saying: “We have super exciting news to tell you… we are proud to introduce a new member to our family.
“Parma Violet has arrived, a delicate flavour of sweet violets with a subtle hint of floral notes and delicious local Somerset apples.
“Brothers Parma Violet cider is perfectly refreshing and best served over ice.”
And it’s not the only addition, the cider company also unveiled a strawberries and cream flavoured beverage, perfect for the warmer months.
Matthew Showering, managing director of Showerings Cider Mill, told Pretty 52: “We are very excited to be bringing two brand new flavours to our customers through our latest innovations.
“At Brothers, we are always looking for ways to think outside the bottle and resonate with our younger audience.
“With fruit cider’s huge growth in the last year, and millennials constantly demanding new and exciting flavours, these latest additions felt like a no-brainer.”
Both ciders are now available in over 900 Greene King pubs nationwide, with prices starting at £2.50 per bottle.
We’ll see you in the beer garden.
