A CANCER op has left a pensioner with hair growing out of his tongue.
Melvyn Mansell, 74, says the weird sensation keeps him awake at night.

Surgeons at Oxford’s Churchill Hospital used tissue from the ex-hairdresser’s arm to rebuild his tongue a year ago after removing a tumour.
But Melvyn, from Headington, Oxon, said: “I’m waking up at 2am and having to trim it.
“They should provide laser treatment, but they said I had to go private, or pluck or trim it.
