Chelsea’s 2019-20 third kit leaked online with retro Nike emblem and 90s design

CHELSEA’S third kit for next season has been leaked online.

The 2019/20 strips are all designed by Nike but this third instalment has split opinion.

The third outfit is set to be officially launched in September.

But images leaked online mean fans get a glimpse much earlier than anticipated.

The Blues launched their home kit earlier this month in a shoot many described as cringe-worthy.

But fans were given a boost by the inclusion of Eden Hazard in the pictures.

However security seems lacking somewhere as shortly after the home kit launch, images began circulating of their new away kit too.

Chelsea fans were quick to jump on board and slate it as ‘basic’ but the third has received mixed reviews.

The shirt is mainly black with orange trim around the sleeves and collar and the general feel harks back to kit designs of the 90s.

Orange continues to be a theme in an era where florescent is ‘in’ – as the kit is completed with luminous orange socks.

Alex Goldberg called it fire on Twitter and demanded Nike send one emblazoned with Callum Hudson-Odoi‘s name.

Dan Hill had a different view and tweeted: “It’s horrible. the collar isn’t nice, the Nike logo with the word Nike on doesn’t sit right.”

Another called it an ‘awful monstrosity’ while @Fjoslarz called it ‘sexy’.
