CHERYL broke down in tears on The Greatest Dancer as she became emotional over her act Harry and Eeliyah.
After their final performance Cheryl struggled to form words as she felt so emotional, telling the duo how they would be great no matter if they lost.
They later went on to lose the competition to Ellie Fergusson.
They re-created their emotional audition and it left the former Girls Aloud star sobbing in her seat and bursting with pride at the two dancers.
She told them: “First of all I want to say thank you. Thank you for being amazing, thank you for trusting me on your journey.
“I’m going to miss you terribly but whatever you go on to do from here you’re going to be great at whatever the outcome of tonight is.”
James and Oliver were eliminated from the show first.
James thanked the viewers for all of their support as they left the competition.
He said: “I’m feeling so so grateful for all of you guys who have allowed us to do this. I’m thankful for Matthew, I mean what can I say.”
Their captain Matthew Morrison said: “They showed up every week and they did the best they could do. They did the best they could do. I can’t even speak.”
