IT’S the Britain’s Got Talent live finals next week which means Coronation Street will switch to a 9pm time slot.
And – like in previous years – the later scheduling will see some dramatic scenes that can’t be shown in Corrie’s usual pre-watershed slot.
The person who deliberately sabotaged the Underworld factory roof will final be revealed – but will it be Nick?[/caption]
Along with Audrey Roberts finally discovering that her grandsons Nick Tilsley and David Platt are behind the theft of £80k from her bank account, Gary Windass will see his life threatened by evil loan shark Rick Neelan.
The week culminates with a special episode centred around Carla Connor – Alison King – who is suffering from a psychotic breakdown. Viewers will see some elements from Carla’s point of view as she becomes convinced dead Rana Habeeb and Aidan Connor are still alive.
And along with all this drama, the person who deliberately sabotaged the Underworld factory roof will final be revealed, ending weeks of speculation as to who the shadowy figure attacking the roof with a crow-bar was.
The factory collapsed back in March, leaving Rana Habeeb dead on her wedding day to Kate Connor.

While Carla had been told the roof was dodgy, viewers know that it collapsed with the helping hand of a mystery figure.
There are six official suspects in the whodunit that’s gripped soap fans. At the moment the finger of suspicion is pointing firmly at Nick – Ben Price – who’s made himself look shady by stealing the Health and Safety report investigating the incident.
He was also seen telling brother David that the factory would be worth more to him if it burnt to the ground.
Even girlfriend Leanne Battersby will question his innocence as it becomes obvious Nick has been lying to her.
Other names in the frame include Robert Preston – who had a huge grudge against Carla, blaming her for girlfriend Michelle Connor dumping him.

Carla herself is in the frame, with police believing she and Nick were trying to pull an insurance job.
Gary Windass, Seb Franklin and Peter Barlow were all also named as suspects by Corrie bosses.
While we’re sworn to secrecy over the identity of the saboteur, we can tell you that it will send shockwaves around Weatherfield.
