Craig Revel Horwood: Strictly judge used to have long hair – then and now pictures

Craig Revel Horwood, 55, has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since its inception in 2004. The judge sits on the panel alongside Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas, as fellow judge Bruno Tonioli has had to pull out of his role this year due to other commitments. What did Craig Revel Horwood look like in his younger years?

As a toddler, Craig had a lot of black hair and thick eyebrows.

Discussing his new book with Lorraine, Craig explained how he has always wanted to write a book about the time he was sharing a house with his friends.

Speaking about his youth, a photo popped up onto the screen of Craig when he was much younger.

Lorraine said: “You looked very sort of moody, you know like somebody in one of those very serious bands, like an Indie band.”

His chilled cheekbones framed his face and Craig also had a small amount of facial hair, which he has not had for years.

Opting for a more casual look in his younger years, the star wore a checkered shirt with a loose fitted t-shirt underneath.

When Craig is seen out and about now, he tends to opt for smarter clothing such as suits.

How much is Craig paid for his role on Strictly Come Dancing?

One of his sources of income is from Strictly where he is said to earn around £100,000 for each series.

However his estimated yearly earnings are around £300,000, which includes his other lines of work from theatre and pantomimes.

The judge also has money in property and owns a couple of houses, one of which he lives in with his fiancé in Hampshire.
