BUNGLING Arsenal welcomed Dani Ceballos to the Emirates in embarrassing style – by spelling his name WRONG on the team-sheet to face Lyon.
The Real Madrid midfielder, who will cost the Gunners £15million for just one season on loan, made the bench for today’s Emirates Cup clash.
He would have been shocked to find his name spelled “Dani Cabellos” on the official team-sheet.
Fans quickly picked up on the gaffe and tore into Arsenal for their schoolboy error.
One tweeted: “Seems the club has a problem spelling, thought it was Ceballos?”
Another laughed: “They can’t even spell Ceballos properly.”
One frustrated supporter vented: “The club team sheet and Ceballos is spelt wrong… come on Arsenal .”
Arsenal did at least get his name right on the back of his shirt.
Ceballos, 22, is the club’s second summer signing after Brazilian striker Gabriel Martinelli.
He won the Euros with Spain’s Under-21s this summer and Arsenal had to convince him to snub rivals Tottenham to join.
