MANCHESTER UNITED are on the brink of signing Swansea winger Daniel James with “personal terms agreed”.
Sky Sports report a deal of £15million is set to be completed with the player wishing to join Old Trafford and become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first summer signing.
The Welshman, 21, almost joined Leeds in the winter window but a stunning mobile malfunction caused the deal to collapse.
James had completed a medical at Elland Road ahead of an £8.5m deal on transfer deadline day before the deal was dramatically cancelled after the phones went dead.
The winger has one year left on his Liberty Stadium deal and the Welsh side are looking to cash out on the ace before losing him on a free next season.
Graham Potter’s side even left him out of their final-day draw at Blackburn in order to avoid him sustaining any injury ahead of his expected summer move.
Solskjaer is beginning a revamp at Old Trafford and has James targeted as a solution on the right side of midfield.
