Dimitar Berbatov has been extremely impressed with Harry Kane’s performances this year, both when it comes to scoring and assisting.
Speaking with Betfair, Berbatov said that the Tottenham striker is alongside Robert Lewandowski as ‘two of the best talents in our sport,’ and that they are just ‘after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.’
Kane scored twice in a 3-3 thriller against West Ham at the weekend, and also set up Son Heung-Min’s early goal with a superb pass from inside his own half.

The former Tottenham man said that Kane is just below Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi
‘Kane’s assist at the weekend, that’s next level s***, you expect that from Kevin De Bruyne,’ said Berbatov, who scored 46 goals in 102 games for Spurs.
So far this season Kane has scored 10 goals in nine games in all competitions, and also has eight assists.
His improved passing has benefitted Son up front, who is not far behind him with eight goals.

Berbatov even likened the pair to the partnership he had with Robbie Keane during his Spurs career.
‘They are almost telepathic,’ he said. ‘They understand that football isn’t a selfish game, that when you try to set up your team-mate and play for them, you end up playing better yourself and it helps the team.’

Berbatov isn’t the only player to have heaped praise on Kane recently, with Troy Deeney claiming he is often overlooked as one of the best players in the world.
‘He’s world class,’ Deeney told talkSPORT. ‘He’s ridiculous. His goal tally is a joke. If you see now, the passing that he is adding and the assists.’
Kane also received praise from the likes of Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher after the West Ham game, with Carragher saying: ‘Harry Kane is one of the best passers in world football, I think.’
