Dominic Cummings WON'T be prosecuted by Durham Police after 'minor breach'

Dominic Cummmings saiid he drove to the local beauty spot with his wife and four-year-old son to test his eyesight in advance of driving back to London. But Durham Police say Boris Johnson’s adviser did commit a “minor breach” of the guidelines when he drove 50 miles to Barnard Castle on April 12, according to the Daily Telegraph. 

However the force said “it would not be taking any further action against Mr Cummings.”

Mr Cummings sparked fury when it emerged he drove from London to Durham to isolate with his family during the lockdown and subsequently took a trip to Barnard Castle to see if he was fit enough to drive before returning to the capital.
