Mr Jordon, who plays bad boy Daz Spencer in Emmerdale allegedly bit Andrew Potts and pushed his partner Rosalind O’Neil after a spat broke out at the Farrars Arms in Oldham, Manchester.

The 68-year-old pensioner fought back tears as he recounted the “frightening” alleged assault at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court.

Giving evidence, Mr Potts said the argument broke out after his partner had made a comment about Jordon’s daughter, who had been straddling a boy at the time.

Mr Potts said: “The next thing I see is Jordon on the other side of our bench screaming at Rosalind, and I mean screaming.

“He said, that’s my f***ing daughter you are talking about.”

The jury was told Miss O’Neil apologised, but Mr Potts quipped: “I wouldn’t let my daughter act like that in front of me.”

CCTV supplied by the pub showed the actor had to be held back from Mr Potts who he described was “like a madman” as he was dragged away screaming “I’ll f***ing kill you, you old b***ard”.

Defending, Keith Harrison suggested Mr Potts had called Jordon’s daughter a “sl*g”, a claim which Mr Potts denies.

Mr Potts also denied claims he had filmed Jordon’s daughter and threatened to post the video to YouTube but said he may have turned to Jordon’s girlfriend, Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt in the Yorkshire-based soap and said: “F*** off, you think you’re clever because you’re on TV.”

Mr Harrison asked Mr Potts whether he called Jordon a “d*ckhead” at which point, Mr Potts chuckled and said: “He was acting like one.”

After being escorted from the pub, Mr Potts said a taxi pulled up in front of them and Jordon got out and pushed Miss O’Neill to the floor.

He said: “I just seen this mountain of a man, I did kick him between the legs, he didn’t flinch.”

The pensioner claims Jordon bit the palm of his hand and spat out a chunk of skin as the pair fell to the ground in a drunken brawl.

Mr Potts denied a suggestion from Mr Harrison that he had pushed Miss O’Neil out of the way before jumping on Jordon’s back and putting his fingers and thumb inside his mouth to grab his cheek.

Jordon, who’s co-stars Chris Chittel, Nick Miles, Sammy Winward,  appeared at the hearing denied affray, unlawfully wounding Mr Potts and assaulting Miss O’Neil.
