Epsom Derby 2019: Sir Dragonet and Telecaster head a field of 13 declared for the Derby at Epsom on Saturday


A star-studded line-up has been declared for the Derby, with Aidan O’Brien’s Sir Dragonet heading a final field of 13.

The Chester Vase winner is one of seven runners for the Irish maestro, who’s also represented by the rapidly progressive Broome.

Sir Dragonet currently heads the market at 100-30 with Unibet, while Broome is second in at 4-1.

Anthony Van Dyck, Circus Maximus, Japan, Norway and Sovereign complete the Aidan O’Brien battalion, with Madhmoon the only other Irish runner for Kevin Predergast.

The British challenge is led by Hughie Morrison’s Telecaster, who was last seen winning the Dante at York, while Andrew Balding’s Bangkok will bid to follow up his Sandown win.

The quality field is completed by Hiroshima, Line Of Duty and Humanitarian.
