Women sporting gorgeous frocks and hats caught the eye in Surrey as they cheered on the horses.
There was champagne, spirits and sunny weather as the Derby kicked off today.
In numerous snaps racegoers poured champagne into flute glasses as they lapped up the occasion.
And many were all smiles as they cosied up for selfies.
Exotic, feathered hats were also on display as the day brimmed with glamour.
They were also competing for the “dress to impress” Style Award title, which rewards the best-dressed with a holiday-for-two to Mauritius.
It ams to find the best-dressed at the Grandstand and Queen’s Stand event.
The winner will be judged by TV presenter and DJ Vogue Williams and Hello! magazine’s Alexandra Wilby.
Today is the first of two events held at Epsom Downs.

Today, Anapurna beat Pink Dogwood to give Frankie Dettori a fifth win in the Oaks at the event.
He said: “Beautiful. She was very courageous.
“I absolutely love it. My first one was 25 years ago and I’m still here.”
He added: “I thought the other one had a better turn of foot, but I knew mine would stay really well – it was just a matter of getting a good run round and I did.
“For a minute I couldn’t get out and it took a furlong to get going and Ryan had three lengths on me, but I knew she would come home good.
“I was getting him and then in the last 30 yards I got him. Beautiful.
“I absolutely love it. My first one (Oaks on Balanchine) was 25 years ago and I’m still here.”
