EX-Towie star James Argent has got Tyson Fury in his corner – after asking the heavyweight champ to help him lose weight.
Arg, 31, wants the ‘Gypsy King’ to train him in a last-ditch bid to slim down after doctors warned him he was at risk of heart disease and diabetes.

The reality star has told he needs to shift weight after replacing booze and partying with junk food.
But Arg – who has battled weight problems for years – is now in training for Channel 4 show Sink or Swim where he and stars including Linford Christie and Sair Khan will bid to swim the Channel.
Arg, who is in an on-off relationship fellow Towie star Gemma Collins, has used boxing in the past to shed weight but never had a ring pro as a mentor.
His unlikely friendship with Fury, 30, was cemented when the pair performed karaoke at the Olivias restaurant in La Cala, Malaga, a week and a half ago.

A friend of Arg said: “He has asked Tyson if he can help him shift the pounds because if he doesn’t do something drastic, his health is at risk.
“He is great friends with Tyson, and he has agreed to help him out. Arg gets on much better when he is doing something he enjoys, like being in a boxing gym.
“Tyson has said he can give him tips and advice to train efficiently. He said diet and discipline was a key factor and that is where Arg really needs to sort himself out.”
Speaking about his yo-yo weight crisis and medical need to drastically lose weight, Arg has previously said: “In regards to my body – I need to work on that. I need to get back in the gym and boxing again.”

In May he was given a dressing down from This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh, who told him his BMI (body mass index) was in the mid 40s. The normal range is 18.5 – 25, meaning the reality star is ‘significantly obese’ and his health remains at serious risk.
Devastated Arg said at the time: “It’s quite scary. Ten stone is a hell of a lot of weight. It seems like a marathon and isn’t going to be a quick fix.”
Meanwhile British champ Fury is focused on his next fight. The heavyweight hardman, who needed just two rounds to beat Tom Schwarz in June, is due to take on unbeaten Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin in Las Vegas on September 14.
