JOHN TERRY was trolled on Twitter as fans wondered where he was for Aston Villa’s trophy presentation.
The Chelsea legend, 38, famously wore full kit despite not playing as Chelsea won the 2012 Champions League.
And when he failed to appear alongside Dean Smith and his players on the balcony, explanations were offered as to his whereabouts.
One social media user tweeted: “John Terry missed the trophy presentation while he was putting his full kit on”.
While others wondered why Villa had not sent JT up in all his glory.
Goals from Anwar El Ghazi and John McGinn sealed Villa’s victory over Derby with Martyn Waghorn pulling one back for the Rams to make it a nervy finish for Smith’s side.
But they held on to secure a top-flight return, with local lad Jack Grealish leading the way.
There was plenty of sweat and tears involved this season and the blood came as he lifted the trophy with James Chester.
But Welshman managed to catch the Villans hero above the eye with the gong, leaving a painful-looking gash.
He could be seen dabbing the wound with a tissue as the celebrations continued in front of the royal box.
And he was asked about the accident during his interview with Sky Sports.

Grealish said: “Me and Chessy have gone up there, shared the trophy.
“And Ches gave me a little nudge and stuck the trophy on my eyebrow to slit my eyebrow open.
“I ain’t going to be looking too good for the celebrations tonight.”
