Maura and Curtis had received two votes, as had Ovie and India, while Anton and Belle received one.

The decision on who would be dumped just days before the final was then handed over to the public and viewers will find out tomorrow night which couple fell at the final hurdle.

Host Caroline Flack revealed the news had been delivered to the couples, as she took to her Instagram Stories to film herself outside the villa in the middle of the night.

With the clock on her screen reading just before 4am, she told her followers: “It’s our last shoot, last late night shoot.

“I feel quite sad that it’s ended, I don’t know what I’m going to do now.

“I’m going to have to go into random bars and start coupling people up, or telling them to leave!”

She also posted a picture of her topless with just her script to protect her modesty.

Love Island fans branded the show a ‘fix’ last night after Belle and Anton ended up at risk of being dumped despite only receiving one vote, compared to the other two couples.

As did Ovie and India
Belle and Anton are also at risk of being dumped, with the results being shown on Sunday night’s show

They also came out in force to save “weakest” pair Ovie and India from being dumped as they campaigned to keep late-comer Ovie, 28, in the villa after he charmed the socks off fans since joining the show in Casa Amor.

One fan wrote: “I literally only watch @LoveIsland for Ovie now and if those fame hungry game players have risked him being thrown out I’ll be fuming! #loveisland.”

Another cursed all fans who aren’t voting for the basketball player as one said: “Save Ovie and India or you get 7 years bad luck I swear !”

Another joked: “People… We’ve lost our Chris we CANNOT and I repeat CANNOT lose Ovie. You know this #loveisland.”

Others moaned: “We need to save Ovie at all costs.”
