The death of Josie Harris, the mother of three of Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s children, has been ruled the result of an accidental drug overdose, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

She was 40.

According to the medical examiner-coroner, Harris, who was found unresponsive in her car in front of her California home on March 10, had Fentanyl and Alparzoam (Xanax) in her system, resulting in “Mixed drug toxicity.”

Harris began dating Mayweather in 1995 and had a tumultuous relationship with the undefeated boxer. Harris filed a domestic battery report against the champ in 2010, leading to Mayweather spending 63 days in prison in 2012. During the incident — witnessed by their children — Harris said Mayweather grabbed her hair, punched her and kicked her. Mayweather, who took a plea deal, denied striking her, claiming he only restrained Harris after entering her home without permission.

Mayweather, 43, then called Harris a drug abuser in a 2015 interview with Katie Couric, prompting her to file a $20 million lawsuit, which was scheduled to go to court later this year.
