A SIZZLING, sunny day for most with temperatures reaching 30C, particularly around Somerset, amid the Saharan bubble heatwave, but gusty in the southwest through the morning. These strong winds ease up later into a balmy evening for most, however the night will get uncomfortable for sleeping as humidity rises.
The heat moves from west to east on a scorching Saturday as temperatures jump up to the mid thirties. A cold front moves in on Saturday night and it is getting cooler and cloudier on Sunday, with sunny spells and scattered showers on Monday, in places heavy in the northwest.
