Fox News chief, top anchors advised to quarantine after COVID exposure

The president of Fox News and several network personalities have been advised to quarantine after being exposed to someone who later tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a report.

The infected person was on a chartered flight with the Fox contingent traveling from Nashville, where the last presidential debate was held, to New York City, The New York Times reported, citing two sources with direct knowledge of the situation.

In addition to Fox News Media President Jay Wallace, also on board were chief political anchor Bret Baier; “The Story” anchor Martha MacCallum, and “The Five” hosts Dana Perino and Juan Williams, according to the paper.

Everyone aboard the flight was told to get tested and quarantine, The Times reported, adding that it was unclear whether more than one person had tested positive.

A network spokeswoman would not confirm details about the matter to The Post, citing the need to keep private health information confidential.

Network personnel have been wearing masks and avoiding proximity to one another, both in the studios and on the road, the outlet reported, citing Fox employees.
