A FURIOUS Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly slammed Anthony Martial in front of his Manchester United team-mates for his “attitude” after drawing 1-1 with Chelsea.
The French winger was left out of the side that picked up a point at home against the Blues on Sunday and his manager opted to bring on Alexis Sanchez, 30, instead of Martial 65-minutes into the game.
According to the Daily Mail after the draw Solskjaer, 46, outed the 22-year-old in the dressing room in front of his United colleagues venting anger at the lack of effort the Frenchman has been offering.
It comes after United fans too publicly blasted the forward after footage emerged of Martial putting in zero effort in warm-up before the Chelsea clash.
United fans accused the ex-Monaco man of being a “sore loser” for being left out of the starting 11 for the second consecutive game.
COMPLACENCY AFTER NEW DEAL
Old Trafford chiefs have become alarmed with the complete lack of motivation Martial has displayed since he signed a five-year deal with the club in January.
Martial had clashed with ex-boss Jose Mourinho, 56, earlier in the season and almost saw his four season stint in Manchester come to an end.
But after Solskjaer took over in the Old Trafford hotseat in December Martial hit a run of form netting three times and regularly starting out on the left or through the middle.
However, in recent weeks, while complaining about a back problem, the young Frenchman has performed in lacklustre fashion leading to Solskjaer publicly outing his No11.
Solskjaer said: “I have spoken to individuals and Anthony is one of those.
“He’s got massive talent, he’s signed a new contract and he knows we believe in him — so just keep on working.

“I think anyone that plays for Man United has to deliver to stay in the squad and stay in the team.
“Anthony is no different to Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez or the many forwards we have to choose from.
“That’s the great thing about it now — it’s down to the players as well, the ownership that they take when they come back in pre-season.”
