TORINO are ready to turn Chelsea wing-back Ola Aina’s loan spell into a £8.67million permanent deal.
The Nigeria star has shone in Serie A this season after impressing for Hull City in the Championship last term.
Now Torino have reportedly agreed a deal for next summer to take up their option of buying the 22-year-old in the summer.
The Italians are thought to have weighed up an offer in the January transfer window but decided to bide their time.
And Aina has seen Spain’s Cesar Azpilicueta consolidate his right-back slot at Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri, even captaining the Blues.
Aina admitted earlier this season how much he loves life and football in Italy.
he said then: “The football here is very tactical. You have to concentrate a lot.
“They spend a lot of time on set-pieces and getting the right movement.
“It has been very good so far and I’m loving it.”
QPR and PSV Eindhoven were also linked with Aina over the summer.
