Official Games with Gold August 2019 news will be announced by Microsoft in the coming days.

This will include all the new Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that will be released next month for free.

And with only a few days left in July, time is running out for Microsoft to make their big reveal.

Unlike PlayStation, Microsoft doesn’t have a typical day in the month where their next selection of free games are announced.

But as we have seen so far in July, the tech giant now mostly chooses to make their announcements at the very end of the month.

With the last day of the month being a Wednesday, we would guess that Microsoft will reveal all on Tuesday.

But there’s also a chance it will happen in the coming days too, so Xbox Live Gold subscribers will need to keep an eye on the Xbox feeds from now on.

No information has leaked so far this month to hint at what Microsoft has planned in August.

But fans will be hungry to see at least one AAA title included, having had a flurry of indie and party games in 2019.

The current lineup includes Inside and Big Crown: Shodown, a party game set over three medieval worlds.

“Avoid perilous hazards and engage in frantic fights as you attempt to knock your opponents off 15 crazy courses in the ultimate royal battle,” the official game description reveals.

“It’s not all about combat in Big Crown Showdown. The game blends chaotic combat with sections of tricky platforming, challenging players to move fast and react quickly. Every track has a number of deadly obstacles for players to avoid.”

Big Crown will remain available into August and will be temporarily part of the upcoming line-up announced by Microsoft.

And with a new Games with Gold update just around the corner, there is also plenty of other bonuses and rewards to enjoy.

It’s already been confirmed that a demo for PES 2020 is being released just before the new Xbox Live Gold free games lineup is released.

The new footy title is scheduled for a full launch later in August but the new trial version will be playable on July 30, 2019.

Konami will be enabling online gameplay & access to edit mode for the new Pro Evo demo, as well as Quick Play and Co-op.

The game’s full title will be eFootball PES 2020 and will feature an all-new mode called Matchday.

And there are other great Xbox Live Gold bonuses to enjoy this weekend.

The latest Gears of War 5 Tech Test is available to download and play with others on Xbox One.

The second Gears 5 beta contains game modes such as Escalation, Arcade and King of the Hill.

Newcomers will need to enlist in the Boot Camp training mode first, while previous players can hit the main modes from the off.

This new tech test will be playable in the UK on Xbox Live until around 8am, BST, on Monday, July 29.

Meanwhile, more news concerning the Games with Gold August 2019 release is expected over the coming days.
