Gemma Collins’ fitness instructor reveals the strict ‘no sugar and no carbs after 6pm’ diet that has helped her lose three stone


GEMNA Collins’ fitness instructor has revealed she is on a no sugar and no carbs after 6pm diet to ditch the pounds.

The reality star, who has lost three stone in recent months, has enlisted the help of Vicky Young who has got her on a strict eating regime  – minus a few cheeky cocktails.

Lifting the lid on the secret behind Gemma’s new look, she told new! Magazine:  “I have been helping Gemma with her meals for about a month.

“We’re doing no sugar and low carbs. This way she’s still eating loads of stuff, but it’s healthy stuff.”

While Gemma might have a new eating plan, she’s hasn’t been able to resist a few drinks and has been spotted boozing while out in LA.

When she is  sticking to her diet, Vicky revealed exactly what she has been munching, saying: “So for breakfast she’ll have poached eggs, avocado, tomatoes on sourdough, then lunch will be a big salad with kale, peppers and avocado, with either chicken or tuna steak.

“For dinner, I make her vegetarian curries, or sometimes it’s chicken and halloumi kebabs with peppers on a skewer with tzatziki salad.”

Vicky went on reveal that the regime has left her feeling happier and with more energy.

Gemma, who has been filming her new reality show in LA,  has also been exercising with the help of personal trainer Charlie King.

She recently wowed fans as she went for a run in a crop top and told her fans: “I got to the top of Runyon Canyon. It’s so good keeping my fitness up is so important. It’s good for the body – look at me, never worn a crop top before – it’s the way forward.

“Exercise is very, very good for the mind, the heart, the blood. I’m just so happy. I feel free.”

Gesturing to her workout gear, she told fans: “I never thought I’d get to the top. Guys, girls, get your crop tops on. Get up the hills.”

Towie star Gemma has shed more than three stone after embarking on a fitness regime during Dancing On Ice earlier this year.

The reality favourite lost two and a half stone alone during the gruelling workouts – and has been determined to keep it up.

She has been busy in LA hanging out with Dancing On Ice partner Matt Evers and former Celebrity Big Brother co-star Jonathan Cheban.

Gemma was in the US city making a six-part reality show called Diva Forever, which will air every night after Love Island.
