A MUM was high drugs while her three-year-old son nearly died in a hot tub, cops allege.
Apryl Connolly, 36, was in the hottub at resort in Florida with her twin boys and their dad and as the pool was closing he left them in her care.
But video taken at the Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort in Daytona Beach Shores shows one the two boys running back to the hot tub with their mother nowhere to be seen.
One of them goes into the water and the horrifying footage shows him going under after a few seconds.
NBC reported the boy was underwater for two minutes and video show the adults in the hot tub oblivious to what’s going on.
Luckily a woman employee was watching the surveillance footage in the lobby and radioed for assistance, police said.
Video shows a staff member pulling the boy from the water and performing CPR.
The youngster began to breathe on his own and was transported to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Daytona Beach Shores police said.

Investigators began reviewing CCTV and saw that while her son was being resuscitated, Connolly went to her purse and threw some item in the rubbish.
A pill was found and Connolly admitted to throwing it away and later revealed she consumed alcohol, marijuana, oxycodone and Suboxone prior to the incident.
Connolly did not ask about her son’s condition in the 11 hours she spent in custody, WFTV reported.
She was charged with felony child neglect and destruction of evidence and is being held without bail.
