REAL MADRID boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to rule out a late swoop for Neymar.
But bitter rivals Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the wantaway Paris Saint-Germain star all summer.
Neymar has made it clear that he wants to leave Parc des Princes – just two years after he joined from Barcelona for £198million.
The official Paris Saint-Germain club shop have stopped selling shirts with his name on.
And he has even been told to “f*** off” by furious fans as speculation continues to surround his future in France.
Madrid and Barcelona have until September 2 to get any final business done ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
Zidane fuelled speculation that Los Blancos could make a late move for the Brazilian star after his side’s pre-season match against Roma.
He said: “Neymar is not [in our squad] but until September 2, anything can happen.
“We are with the squad that we have and we are only thinking about that.”
It is reported that Madrid will end their pursuit of Paul Pogba if they land the 97-cap Brazil international.
He would link up in the Los Blancos squad alongside Gareth Bale and new arrival Eden Hazard.
But Barcelona appear to have the upper hand on the move after the lawyer who paid his previous transfer fee was spotted heading into the club’s offices.
Neymar has a £198m release clause in his PSG contract, meaning he could return to his former club for the exact fee he left for two years ago.
