The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government has come under fire after he insisted a planning application be allowed to save a Tory donor up to £50million according to Government documents.
The decision from the department allowed Northern and Shell to avoid paying £30million to £50million in extra costs for the project in east London.
In light of the story, the BBC reported it had seen photos of Mr Jenrick sitting next to owner of Northern and Shell – the group involved in the project – at a fundraising event.
Piers said: “Permission? From the Conservative Party that’s trying to suppress a scandal?
“Grow a pair and publish them or send them to me and I will.”
