A Milwaukee man has been accused of beating his 4-month-old son so badly that the fatal injuries are similar to those suffered in a high-speed crash, according to a report.

Ky’mir Williams, who suffered severe hemorrhaging, was taken off life support on Friday, Fox6 News reported.

“He was a bundle of joy to our family,” a relative told the news outlet.

The boy’s father, 28-year-old Ramel Echols, noticed that his son was “throwing up blood and milk,” and called the mother.

When she told him to call 911, police said he waited and eventually took Ky’mir to the hospital.

Doctors said his injuries were “consistent with an injury seen in a high-speed motor vehicle accident” with “bleeding on the brain” and “bruising to the abdomen.”

Echols, who provided no explanation for the injuries, has been charged with child abuse and neglect, with homicide charges expected.
