Baz’s source said: “The movie’s premise is genetic warfare, which is fascinating — but you gotta boil it down and make it accessible.
“And that’s why Phoebe was hired. She has somehow made sense of it.
“There aren’t many people in the world bright enough to bring some humour to the topic of genetics and the Human Genome Project.”
Allegedly Malek’s villain uses genetic sciences for “nefarious reasons”, which ties in well with the synopsis that’s already been shared officially.
The official synopsis of Bond 25 reads: “James Bond has left active service when his friend Felix Leiter enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist.
“When it becomes apparent that they were abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen.”
Earlier this month, Baz’s source claimed Bond 25’s script has been under endless rewrites.
They said: ““[Waller-Bridge is] writing a re-write of a re-write.”
The source added: “Daniel’s writing. Cary’s writing. The crew reckon they’re working on a well-polished s*** show.
“They have an outline of plot, but dialogue is all last-minute. It’s not the way to make a movie. I would imagine they’ll sort it out in the cutting room.
“That’s where most movies get made anyway. But you’d think the Bond lot would be more together.”
Bond 25 is released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
