This is the second time the brother of the former labour leader has been arrested this month for protesting lockdown. The Met Police said in a statement: “Police are on scene at two locations in Westminster after a number of demonstrators gathered. A small number arrests have been made at each site for breach of Covid-19 regulations and some Fixed Penalty Notices issued.

“Officers are engaging with those present & encouraging them to go home.

“The majority of individuals have dispersed.”

The Piers Corbyn twitter account today read: “RESIST #NewNormal #Nazification of the NHS!

“BREAK Plandemic fake narratives!

“LOL MSM #BarnardCastleGate!

“What Was Cummings REALLY up to in #BarnardCastle, home of corrupt GlaxoSmithKline major Research?”

Posters at the demonstration read, “End the lockdown now and free those the NHS has left behind.”

The group called Stand Up X led the small demonstration.
