The Fleetwood Town manager has been holidaying with pals ahead of his wedding to Georgia McNeil this summer.
But a fight broke out when they fell out with another group of rugby lads, claims The Sun.
Barton’s party turned up in Newquay last Friday for a three-day stay where they allegedly hired out a lapdancing club.
The former Man City and Newcastle midfielder had been drinking with his mates on Towan Beach in Cornwall when the mood turned ugly.
Video footage shows a large crowd on the beach with punches flying.
One man is seen flooring three men as he waded in with punches during the 40-second brawl.
He knocked a man to the ground and then in the melee he too was pushed to the deck. He got up though to punch two more men.
Another is seen brutally kicking a lad on the ground.
Families were forced to flee from the beach and one woman is heard screaming “Oh my God”.
“It was extremely violent”
One holidaymaker told The Sun: “It was extremely violent.
“The same man was then seen flooring two more.”
They added: “During a race a lad from another group rugby tackled one of Joey’s mates — then it all kicked off.”
The man who decked three was dressed all in black.
A witness said: ““The fella didn’t start the trouble but threw punches and knew how to handle himself.”
The violence finally came to an end when witnesses say the other group ran off.
A spokesman for Barton is “categorically denying” his involvement.
Police have received no reports of an incident.
