The German has been renting the ex-Celtic gaffer’s plush Formby pad since October 2015.
Rodgers himself managed the Reds before being sacked that year.
And after returning from the Hoops to manage in the Premier League this week, Klopp feared he may have to leave.
But luckily, the ex-Dortmund boss says Leicester is too far away.
At a press conference, Klopp said: “As long as he is not going to Everton then I’m fine, because if it’s Everton then he wants his house back!
“Leicester is not close enough that he will move to Formby”
“Leicester is not close enough that he will move to Formby.”
Speaking ahead of the appointment, he added: “What can I say about that?
“They have to clarify between the clubs, then Brendan and Leicester.
“Probably not an easy situation for Celtic, but if it happens then wherever he goes I wish him obviously luck, because he’s a good guy.”
In September the two met in a charity football match, with Klopp teasing the Northern Irishman about what they’d talk about.
Klopp said: “It will be fun for sure. Especially because I meet my landlord, I think for the first time since he left Liverpool and I came here.
“We have a lot of things to talk about.
“The plumbing issue, electricity, the pool and stuff like that. So Brendan, hope you are in good shape and we can sort a few things that day.”
