THE party firm run by the Duchess of Cambridge’s mum has been slammed for flogging “complete tat” by furious customers.
Party Pieces – slogan “Magical parties for over 30 years” – was blasted in reviews posted online.

The mere one star means Carol Middleton’s firm has a “bad” rating with an average score of just 2.1 out of ten.
Consumer site Trustpilot gave the mail order firm, run by Carole Middleton and hubby Michael, a single star out of five.
Some claimed items were “useless”, while others told how they had ordered themed napkins from kids cartoon Paw Patrol only to receive formal “First Communion” ones instead.
One customer, Eleanor Laurence, wrote on January 16: “Mistakes…still waiting for money.
“2nd time I have ordered and mistakes made. No glasses in the delivery despite being charged.
“Cups and cutlery was out of stock and delivery note said the replacement was included but wasn’t.
“Contacted customer service and was advised a refund would be given but still nothing.
“Have chased again today for my money.”
My advice is to order direct from China and give this company a right royal kick up the backside!

Another, Woody, ranted on December 14: “Complete tat on sale.
“This wouldn’t be quite so bad if it was tat that you have ordered but unavailable items are replaced with any unsuitable item.

Another, called MS, said on December 11: “I ordered approx. £150 worth of good on a Friday for a party the following weekend and paid the extra for next day delivery. It didn’t arrive on Monday or Tuesday.
“The order wasn’t even sent out until Wednesday at which point I started sending emails and calling Partypieces.
They were nice enough on the telephone but the order didn’t arrive on Thursday either.

“It finally arrived on Friday late in the day.
“When unpacked there were a number of items missing, the wine glasses proved to be so unstable I had to send someone out to find better ones and use some of my own glass ones.
“All in all a bad experience which one doesn’t need when getting ready for a party.
“I would give it no stars if that were an option.
“I actually don’t see how the company stays in business with such shoddy products and service.”
Customer Fiona Boyd added on December 10: “Really poor, I had a broken item, emailed the company and no response whatsoever.

“It was a Christmas present so have had to buy another replacement, would never order from (them) again.”
Others complained items were missing from their orders, while one threatened to start dispute proceedings because they had not received a refund.
