A source told the Mirror: “Kylie and Jason have been talking a lot in recent weeks and it’s something they want to make happen but there have been logistics involved so it’s 50/50.

“Everyone really wants to make it work.”

Kylie recently admitted she’ll shed a tear on stage at Glastonbury 14 years after her cancer diagnosis forced her to cancel her headline set.

The 50-year-old will be following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie by playing in the Legend Slot at the festival on Worthy Farm, near Pilton, Somerset this weekend.

Speaking ahead of her big moment, she told the Mirror:  “I will remember what happened those years ago and my overriding feeling will just be of gratitude and, how fragile life can be.

“Will there be tears? Absolutely. Let’s just say I will be wearing waterproof mascara.”

Fourteen years ago Kylie pulled out a month before she was due to headline the Pyramid Stage at the festival when she discovered that she had breast cancer.

Remembering how she felt at the time, Kylie said:  “I would have been one of the only female solo artists in the festival’s history to headline.

“I really thought I missed my opportunity and, as the years went by, I said to myself, ‘Well this just isn’t going to happen’.”

Kylie announced she would be playing the festival earlier this year as she told fans: “She wrote on Instagram: “I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing the ‘Legend slot’ on Sunday 30th June at @glastofest 2019.

“It will be 14 years since I was originally meant to appear there and so much has happened up to now.

“I can’t wait to see you all there to share the special show.”
