She ended up joining forces with the Viking warlord Sigtryggr (Eysteinn Sigurðarson) and they initiated a siege on Winchester.
During the attack, Uhtred confronted Brida and she made an attempt to kill him, but he was able to defend himself and managed to talk her down.
He begged for her to leave the kingdom as she was pregnant with Cnut’s child, and he did not want any harm to come to her or the baby. Brida was still full of anger and resentment, and she swore she would never let another man influence or control her again.
The last fans saw of Brida was when she went into labour, and she was left to give birth alone having left Uhtred behind. Fans have taken to Reddit to discuss why Brida became so angry in season four, and it is in part due to Uhtred’s wavering loyalty to the Danes.

“She learns Cnut killed Ragnar. Then she was taken as a slave, not that Danes treat their slaves too well… What is her problem? Danes are plunderers and Saxons would want to defend their own land, so where the question of revenge come from exactly? Isn’t it misdirected anger?”
